The Clemson Tigers finished the 2024 college football season with a 10-4 record, suffering a brutal loss to the Texas Longhorns in the College Football Playoff.

Soon after losing to the Longhorns 38-24 in the first round of the College Football Playoff, Clemson starting quarterback Cade Klubnik took to social media to reveal his plans for his future in college football.

Klubnik announced he would be returning to Clemson for his fourth season after serving as the team's full-time starter in 2023 and 2024.

"The story isn’t over," Klubnik said. "See y’all in 2025."

ESPN's Pete Thamel reported the news, mentioning that Clemson may very well enter the 2025 college football season as a top-five team in the sport.

During the 2024 college football season, Klubnik recorded 36 touchdowns and 3,639 yards with a 63.4 completion percentage. The Texas native also added seven touchdowns and 463 yards on the ground.

In three years with the Tigers, Klubnik has produced 57 touchdowns, 7,180 yards and 18 interceptions.

Klubnik originally committed to Dabo Swinney and the Tigers as the No. 1 quarterback in the class of 2022, ranked as a five-star prospect,  per 247Sports

Out of high school, he was heavily recruited by powerhouse programs such as Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Miami and Michigan.
