Clemson Tigers quarterback Cade Klubnik faces a decision about his future with the 2025 NFL draft potentially looming. The latest projections on Klubnik's NFL draft stock may have the signal-caller preferring to return to Clemson for another college football season.
Both Pro Football Network and College Football Network's latest seven-round mock drafts have Klubnik going undrafted. It is a surprise potential outcome for Klubnik given the quarterback's former five-star status combined with a solid 2024 season with the Tigers.
Pro Football Focus' Trevor Sikkema has Klubnik as the No. 190 ranked player on his 2025 NFL draft big board. Klubnik has a chance to use Clemson's appearance in the College Football Playoff to improve his draft stock.
The good news is the junior quarterback has been playing his best football to close the regular season. Heading into the College Football Playoff, Klubnik threw for 3,304 yards, 33 touchdowns and 5 interceptions while completing 63.7% of his passes.
Klubnik added 458 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns on the ground. The Clemson quarterback's dual-threat ability will be appealing to NFL teams. The Draft Network's Ryan Fowler believes Klubnik has a chance to be a potential Day 2 pick if the quarterback enters the 2025 NFL draft.

"A standout at Westlake High School just a short 20-minute drive from Texas’ campus, Klubnik’s development this fall has been outstanding," Fowler wrote on Thursday. "He’s beaten teams as a pocket passer (see tape vs Wake and UVA) and as a runner (NC State and Pitt), showcasing a unique ability to beat teams in a variety of ways.
"... Klubnik remains in the day-two-or-three bucket of draft-eligible quarterbacks and a competitive outing against the vaunted Longhorns defense will go a long way for scouts."
