Clemson Recruiting is Rolling

While there may be some questions regarding Dabo Swinney’s adjustment to the transfer portal era of college football, he is still proving himself to be a top-level high school recruiter. In the last two weeks, Clemson has picked up 14 commitments, which gives them a total of 22.

The most recent came on Wednesday afternoon when three-star cornerback Bryant Robinson (Frisco, TX) made his announcement. But he is just the most recent in this flood of commitments:

  • 5/20 4-star RB Gary Walker (Fairburn, GA)
  • 5/20 4-star WR Jamarin Simmons (Tallahassee, FL)
  • 5/25 3-star OL Carter Jones (Poquoson, VA)
  • 5/26 3-star TE Carter Blackwell (Leesburg, GA)
  • 5/28 4-star OL Elijah Morrison (Dacula, GA)
  • 5/29 4-star DE Santana Harvey (Lakeland, FL)
  • 5/29 3-star WR Julian Cromartie (The Woodlands, TX)
  • 6/1 4-star OL JJ Brown (Lilburn, GA)
  • 6/1 4-star OL Luke Starcevic (Kindred, ND)
  • 6/1 3-star TE Nick Pollack (Bogart, GA)
  • 6/1 4-star DE Desmond Malpress (Jacksonville, FL)
  • 6/2 3-star DE JiQuan Rogers (Birmingham, AL)
  • 6/2 P Brandin Gallaway (Bradenton, FL)

This currently gives Clemson a consensus Top 10 class. While the Tigers aren’t scheduled to host any recruits this weekend, they have a very important defensive line duo visiting during the weekend of June 12th. And they are trending favorably for both three-star Segun Alexander  (Rabun Gap, GA) and four-star Seth Tillman (Rock Hill, SC).

Clemson needed a positive offseason to quiet some of the critics, which Coach Swinney is delivering. The more good news the better for the program, because if the 2026 season looks anything like 2025, the noise will quickly get loud again.

But for now, Death Valley can focus on the off-the-field positives.
