College Football Head Coach Spent $94 At Taco Bell After Upset Win

Week 13 of the college football season had plenty of upsets. Auburn stunned Texas A&M in a quadruple-overtime thriller.

Another SEC result was the Oklahoma Sooners stunning the Alabama Crimson Tide in a 24-3 final in Norman.

As such, the SEC landscape is likely to change, and the College Football Playoff rankings might not have Alabama as part of the field.

Oklahoma was then assessed a total of $200,000 in fines for storming the field-- $100,000 of which was due to the fans storming the field before the game ended.

Nonetheless, it was a massive win for Brent Venables' program.

On Monday, Venables revealed that he celebrated by taking his daughters to a Taco Bell in Norman and spending $94.

Yes, really.

"Brent Venables says he spent his Saturday night at Taco Bell in Norman after beating Alabama. He and his daughters spent $94," George Stoia III wrote on X.

However, Venables said he also took his daughters' friends.

A $94 total at Taco Bell is a lot of food. For some perspective, the most expensive combo at Taco Bell is $11.39, the Chicken Chalupas Supreme Combo, per the website.

That is a total of 8.25 of those combos. A regular soft taco is $1.89, making a total of just under 50 tacos to get to the $94 price point.

That doesn't include tax, but still, that is a ton of money to shell out at Taco Bell.

According to US Weekly, Brent and Julie Venables have two daughters, Laney and Addie, who are both teenagers.

It was a massive win for the Sooners and it made them eligible for a bowl game. But, spending $94 at Taco Bell in celebration is certainly not what anybody expected.
