He's the most dynamic multi-way football player that the sport has seen since Charles Woodson - maybe even better - but will Colorado wideout/cornerback Travis Hunter take his Heisman-worthy talents to the NFL this coming April, or stay at school for one more year?
Hunter was asked this very question this week, and he made it clear in a recent call with reporters that he is definitely heading to the NFL, where he intends to continue working as a two-way player on offense and defense.
"That's definitely for sure," Hunter said, via ESPN's Adam Rittenberg.

Hunter currently ranks as the betting favorite to win the Heisman Trophy and is widely seen as a prime candidate to be the No. 1 non-quarterback off the board at the NFL Draft. Depending on which team gets the top pick, he could even wind up going No. 1 overall, which would make him the first wide receiver in nearly 30 years to be taken that high.
While his stats may not blow you away like wide receivers such as Justin Jefferson or DeVonta Smith have in recent years, it's his superb ball skills at two positions that give him the kind of value that few players in history can match.
As a receiver, Hunter has a very respectable 74 receptions for 911 yards and nine touchdowns with two regular season games still to play. As a cornerback, he has three interceptions and eight passes defended plus a forced fumble.
His skills as a receiver alone would likely earn him a first-round draft grade, as would his skills as a cornerback. But if he's as determined to keep playing every down on both sides of the ball as he says he is, a prospective NFL team could find an exceptionally value player when they're on the clock five months from now.
Will Travis Hunter be the top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft?
