Julian Lewis is officially closing the chapter on his record-setting high school career.
After three years at Carrollton High in Georgia, the 5-star quarterback is preparing to make the leap to college football. And before heading west to join Deion Sanders’ Colorado program, Lewis took a moment to reflect—and to say goodbye.
In a short but emotional video posted to YouTube, Lewis looked straight into the camera and said:
“C-town, it’s been good. It’s time for me to move on. I said it to bigger and better things. I’m gonna catch you boys.”
“C-town,” of course, refers to Carrollton—his high school, his community, and the place where he built a dominant legacy.
Lewis finished his prep career with a 39–4 record as a starter. He threw for over 11,000 yards (seventh all-time in Georgia history) and 144 passing touchdowns (fifth all-time in the state), including 48 touchdowns in his final season. Along the way, he became a two-time Gatorade Georgia Football Player of the Year—joining Trevor Lawrence as the only athlete to ever win it twice.
Now, he’s heading to Boulder, Colorado.
Julian Lewis will hope to be the centerpiece of Deion Sanders' new-look Buffs team.
With Shedeur Sanders drafted by the Browns, Lewis is expected to be the future and present of Colorado’s offense. His message to Carrollton wasn’t just a farewell—it was a promise that he’s ready to chase greatness on a bigger stage.
