Drew Pyne’s collegiate career has followed a long and curvy road that will likely be ending at Bowling Green. According to ESPN, the Missouri transfer will be playing with the Falcons in 2025.

Pyne started his career at Notre Dame, before transferring to Arizona State and then Missouri. Prior to his stop in the SEC, he did spend another semester in South Bend in order to graduate from the school.

He enjoyed his most successful season with the Irish in 2022 when he passed for 2,021 yards, 22 touchdowns and six interceptions. In his other four seasons, Pyne combined for a total of 900 yards, seven touchdowns and six interceptions. In his one season with Missouri he completed 49 of 82 passes for 391 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions.

With Bowling Green, Pyne will play for new head coach Eddie George, who was hired by the Falcons on March 9th. He will be the likely starter in 2025, after another incoming transfer quarterback, Justin Lamson, transferred to Montana State after the coaching change.
