Culp Provides Scouting Report: Expect Oregon, Colorado, Alcohol

Doing intel, Devin Culp provided his own scouting report on Spartan Stadium, the site of this weekend's Washington-Michigan State football game.

The Husky tight end can tell you the 75,005-seat football facility smack in the middle of upstate Michigan is one part Autzen Stadium, one part Folsom Field and — coming to a concession stand near you in East Lansing for the very first time this Saturday — one part Happy Hour.

Culp, a 6-foot-4, 237-pound sixth-year senior from Spokane, Washington, said the Huskies should expect an enthusiastic welcome reminiscent of Oregon, especially with the volume levels.

"What I've kind of heard in comparison is it's kind of the rowdiness and loudness of Autzen," he said.

That's not all, though. Spartan Stadium, in its seating configuration, will provide the coziness of Colorado, where you can get to know the fans on a first-name basis for sure.

"[It's] almost like Colorado, when you're playing at Folsom and how close the sidelines are to you with the fans, and kind of feeling like they're right on top of you," Culp said.
