He's also completing 58.9 percent of his passes with 29 passing touchdowns and just five interceptions. Liberty has several offensive weapons, but their quarterback's athleticism gives them options in terms of strategy. 

Diego Pavia - Quarterback, New Mexico State

Pavia has been regularly cited as one of the toughest players in college football this season. Like Salter, Pavia has proven to be a very effective runner, also getting over 800 rushing yards on the season. Pavia and Salter are two of just five quarterbacks in FBS this season who have rushed for at least 800 yards. in 2023, Pavia has also thrown for over 2700 yards with 23 touchdowns and eight interceptions.

Kobe Singleton - Corner, Liberty

Singleton, a junior, finished the regular season with four interceptions and one returned for a touchdown. He's defended 13 total passes this season, which is tied for the league lead. Singleton, in combination with Brylan Green, can make it difficult to stretch the field for opposing quarterbacks thanks to their awareness and physical play style.
