Dan Lanning is set to enter is fourth season with the Oregon Ducks, leading the Big Ten team into the 2025 college football season.
Oregon has improved each season under Lanning and continue to take the necessary steps to set themselves up for a national title.
They have consistently been recruiting with some of the biggest names in college football, such as Alabama and Georgia, winning battles off the field.
One of Lanning's biggest recruiting wins during his time at Oregon came when the Ducks landed five-star prospects Trey McNutt.
McNutt was set to enter his freshman season at Oregon, but his future took an unfortunate turn just weeks before the start of the season.
According to On3, Trey McNutt has broken his right leg.

Trey McNutt committed to the Oregon Ducks as a five-star prospect, ranked as the No. 2 safety and the No. 31 overall player in the nation, per 247Sports.
McNutt chose to continue his football journey with Dan Lanning, committing to Oregon over Texas A&M, USC, Florida and others powerhouse programs in the college football landscape.
He committed to Oregon in August, 2024 and eventually enrolled into the Big Ten program in December, 2024.
The Oregon Ducks finished last college football season with a 13-1 record. They suffered a loss to the national champion Ohio State Buckeyes in the College Football Playoff after an incredible regular season.
Oregon's loss came in the Rose Bowl, led by Heisman Trophy candidate and quarterback Dillon Gabriel
