The Colorado Buffaloes have been at the epicenter of the college football world over the past several seasons.
Deion Sanders leads Colorado as the Buffaloes' head coach.
Sanders has been with the program for the past three seasons, having previously relied on his son, Shedeur Sanders, as the team's starting quarterback.
This season, the Buffaloes went into the year with Kaidon Salter as the starting quarterback. Salter beat out four-star freshman Julian Lewis for the starting role.
While Salter is still viewed as the starter for Colorado, Sanders recently announced that Lewis will be playing Week 2 for the Buffaloes.
"He's playing this week for sure," Sanders said. "I know when we're going to see him. You just don't know when you're going to see him."
