Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes are just 3-7 through the first 10 games of the season.
That is a step back from the 9-4 season they had in 2024 with Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter.
Deion Sanders has always been close to his children, coaching two of his sons at Jackson State and Colorado in the past and being vocal about his other son and daughter.
His daughter Shelomi Sanders doesn’t get talked about as much as her siblings, but that doesn’t mean Deion is any less proud of her than he is of the others.
Shelomi played college basketball at Jackson State and then Colorado, following her father's travels.
On Tuesday, Shelomi took to social media to share an update with her followers.
"I am proud to represent my school as part of @naacp_ldf 'Black Joy' campaign because being a student at an HBCU means learning in a space built on history, pride, and the determination to see Black students thrive," Shelomi said.
Shelomi spent one season at both Jackson State and Colorado and is now in her second season with Alabama A&M.
She's a 5-foot-6 guard and is averaging 1.0 points, 0.5 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game through the first four games of this season.
