Deion Sanders Has Warning For Travis Hunter About His Relationship

Travis Hunter's incredible 2024 season at Colorado is suddenly being overshadowed by his relationship with his fiancée, Leanna Lenee.

Hunter and Lenee got engaged earlier this year. That wasn't a huge story at the time because people weren't that familiar with their relationship. Things took an ugly turn when they appeared to be arguing at the end of Colorado's regular-season finale. If that wasn't bad enough, her nonchalant reaction to Hunter winning the Heisman Trophy last Saturday infuriated college football fans everywhere. There has been so much chatter about their relationship on social media that Lenee released an eight-minute video this week.

“The things that I see people make up is truly crazy,” Lenee said on TikTok. “Because it’s not what happened, and I just think people are just finding every single little thing and trying to make it something it’s not.”

Unfortunately for Lenee, things may get worse before they get better. On Thursday, an old video of Hunter getting relationship advice from Deion Sanders resurfaced on the internet.

The video starts off with Sanders saying, "I think he [Hunter] done got married on us and ain't told nobody." Hunter then replied, "Not yet coach."

Sanders could've let the conversation die right then and there, but instead he told Hunter that he needs to get a prenup before getting married.

"Let me know because imma do your prenup for you. It's going to be about this thick," Sanders said before stacking up four books.

For those wondering, this video was shot in 2022. Sanders and Hunter were part of Jackson State's football program at that time.

Hunter has not yet commented on this video resurfacing on social media. He recently called out fans for their hurtful words though.

"I know what I got. I know my girl. My girl's been with me for five years. Y'all are just now starting to talk about me and just now starting to be with me. Come on, man," Hunter said. "Y'all hate on me and then y’all go hate on my girl. I feel the same pain that she feel. We're inseparable, we’re with each other. If she hurting, of course I'm going to be hurting."

Hopefully, fans can let Hunter and Lenee enjoy their lives without trying to analyze every little thing.
