Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes are coming off a brutal 53-7 Week 9 loss at the hands of the Utah Utes. The loss dropped Colorado to 3-5 on the season, meaning they have to win three out of their last four games to make a bowl game. A task that may be quite difficult when you consider that ESPN's FPI gives the Buffs just a 20.2% chance of hitting the six-win threshold.
As Colorado prepares to take on the Arizona Wildcats (4-3), the team is not only looking to overcome the embarrassment of the loss but also a slew of injuries. As seen in Colorado's Wednesday injury report, the Buffs had nine players who were listed as out or doubtful. Of those nine, six are players across the offensive or defensive lines.
The most notable is left guard Xavier Hill, who transferred in from Memphis and leads Colorado's offense in snaps played with 507, according to PFF. Considering Utah's defense just rattled off 17 pressures and seven sacks this past weekend, while Colorado's defense allowed 422 yards rushing, the trenches being impacted by injury isn't ideal.
However, when speaking with the team's play-by-play announcer, Mark Johnson, Sanders hinted that Colorado's star left tackle, Jordan Seaton, may take on another role this week.
As we saw with 2024 Heisman winner Travis Hunter, Sanders is willing to take risks and have players play both ways. It's unclear if Sanders will be moving Seaton to the defensive side of the ball or shifting him across the offensive line, but clearly he has a trick up his sleeve.
"He's (Jordan Seaton) just really versatile," Sanders said. "You may see him at a couple of different positions this week."

According to PFF, Seaton has the third-highest pass-blocking grade (88.1) in college football, so he is clearly an asset on the offensive side of the ball.
Colorado's Week 10 clash is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET and will air on FS1.
