Deion Sanders Is Not Happy With The 2025 NFL Combine

The NFL Scouting Combine sent out its invitations this week and one notable player didn't make the list - much to the likely disappointment of Colorado head coach Deion Sanders.

According to NFL Draft analyst Matt Miller, Colorado safety Shilo Sanders, Coach Prime's son, was not among the players invited to the Combine. Shilo Sanders played six years of college football split between South Carolina, Jackson State and Colorado.

As a member of the Buffaloes, Sanders put up some solid performances. He had 137 total tackles, one interception, five passes defended, five forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries in two years. He even led the Pac-12 in forced fumbles in 2023.

NFL fans aren't exactly feeling sorry for him though. Many users on social media are laughing at the brash safety, calling him out as a bad football player who will be lucky to get a job playing semi-pro football, let alone going drafted in the NFL.

"Maybe he has a chance playing for the Arlington Renegades, lol," one user mocked.

"Deion won’t like this one," another wrote, adding a laughing emoji.

"He would be bagging groceries if it weren’t for his dad," a third wrote.

Deion Sanders has a lot of pride in his sons and their football prowess. He's been saying for ages that he expects his son Shedeur Sanders and his Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter to be top picks in the 2025 NFL Draft. As it stands, the draft analysts seem to agree with him.

But the future is a lot more murky for Shilo Sanders. Even some of the best and most decorated defensive backs in college football sometimes find themselves on the outside looking in come Draft Day.

Shilo doesn't seem to fit even that particular category. That doesn't bode well for his NFL future.

One thing that appears certain is Deion Sanders having a lot to say on the matter - one way or another.

Will Shilo Sanders hear his name called in the 2025 NFL Draft?
