Deion Sanders Jr. Sets Record Straight on Viral Confrontation Between Deion, Scout

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders has never been one to bite his tongue.

So when he saw something going on between his Buffalo players and an NFL scout during Colorado’s pro day on Friday, he didn’t hesitate to intervene.

A video posted on TikTok late Friday night shows Sanders getting frustrated with something an NFL scout said to his players as they lined up for a drill. The second-year Buffaloes coach marched over to the congregation of players and promptly gave them some stern instructions.

“Y’all start how y’all want to start,” Sanders stated. “[Expletive] this man here. Do y’all thing. Do what you all do.”

By Saturday evening, the video had gone viral, garnering millions of views across TikTok and X after being shared my several social media accounts.

And while at first glance the video may have depicted Sanders in an unfavorable light, his actions were better understood after his oldest son, Deion Sanders Jr. clarified what the dispute was actually about.

“He was talking about u can’t use the white line but u can … u can take up all the white line as u want,” Sanders Jr. commented.

Given the large number of players Deion had auditioning for NFL talent evaluators on Friday — Colorado had 16 players participating in the pro day including quarterback Shedeur Sanders, reigning Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter, safety Shilo Sanders, wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr., and several others — one could understand why Deion’s emotions were running high.

Nothing else has been reported on the confrontation between Deion and the scout, so one could assume both parties moved on pretty quickly and not much else was made of the incident.
