Colorado head coach Deion Sanders has dealt with a slew of health problems over the past few seasons. But with October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Coach Prime has decided to do something special to do his part.

On Thursday, Sanders announced that his Prime21 MOD sunglasses brand is teaming up with Blenders Eyewear and creating a pink version of his signature sunglasses brand. Per the announcement, 100-percent of all proceeds from sales will go to the Keep A Breast cancer prevention and education organization.

In a statement, Sanders proudly declared that his partnership with Blenders is about "purpose" and that the sunglasses will represent "strength, awareness, and a fight that hits close to home."

“Partnering with Blenders on the PRIME21 MOD isn’t just about style, it’s about PURPOSE,” Sanders said in a statement. “When you put these shades on, you’re reppin’ strength, awareness, and a fight that hits close to home. These aren’t just sunglasses… they’re PERSONAL, they’re POWERFUL, and they’re a MOVEMENT.”

Keep A Breast founder Shaney jo Darden praised her company's longstanding partnership with Blenders in a statement.

“Continuing our partnership with Blenders Eyewear is a powerful reminder of what happens when purpose and creativity come together,” said Keep A Breast founder Shaney jo Darden in a statement. “Their support helps us meet people where they are with products they love and messages that matter. Together, we’re building a culture of prevention and empowerment around breast health.”

The Prime21 MOD sunglasses will cost $89.

Blenders founder Chase Fisher offered praise to Sanders and expressed a commitment to helping in the fight against breast cancer.

“At Blenders, we believe style means nothing if it doesn’t stand for something,” Fisher said. “We all know someone who’s been affected by breast cancer. That pain, that strength, that fight lives in the stories behind these shades.

“This campaign with Coach Prime is our way of honoring that. It’s not just about what you wear, it’s about who you carry with you when you wear it.”

Sanders and Blenders

According to On3 Sports , Sanders first partnered with Blenders back in 2023. His brand of sunglasses really took off following a heated rivalry that emerged against Colorado State head coach Jay Norvell ahead of a game between their teams.

The rivalry resulted in tens of thousands of pre-order sales. Within weeks they were being worn on First Take and The Pat McAfee Show. Hollywood megastar Dwayne Johnson also wore them during an appearance on College GameDay.

If there's one man that knows how to market something, it's Coach Prime.
