Shedeur Sanders is the most talked about prospect in the lead up to the 2025 NFL Draft. The Colorado Buffaloes quarterback has been on the rollercoaster of projections as of late.
ESPN's Mel Kiper has Sanders as the top passer in this class, but has him going to the New Orleans Saints with the ninth overall pick in his latest mock. He was projected at No. 1 to the Tennessee Titans towards the end of the 2024 season. Since then, it has been a slide all the way to the Saints.
Despite getting pushed back further than expected, going to New Orleans isn't a bad thing. At least that's according to Deion Sanders. The father of Shedeur told reporters he likes the idea of his son playing for the Saints, fueling speculation of if the Big Easy will be Shedeur's next stop.

As the 2025 NFL Draft draws closer, Sanders won't be in the green room but is expected to be a top ten pick. The Saints check a majority of the boxes for Sanders, who will be looking for an opportunity for a winning franchise. We'll see if that becomes a reality on April 24 (8 p.m. ET on NFL Network).
