Colorado head coach Deion Sanders wrapped up spring ball and both of his sons, Shilo and Shedeur, have reported to their respective NFL teams. However, it appears there is still a hangover from the NFL Draft. Enough so that Coach Prime dropped a message on social media.
"The crazy thing about people who don't like you, they watch everything you do," Sanders posted on Tuesday.

This comes after Shedeur took a massive slide in the 2025 NFL Draft. The top QB was projected as a potential first-round pick, but fell to the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round. Shilo then signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent.
The Browns traded up for Shedeur to become the fifth passer on the roster going into training camp. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Philadelphia Eagles had interest in taking Shedeur at No. 145 before Cleveland made the move. They also selected former Oregon signal-caller Dillon Gabriel in the third round.

Sanders reportedly took a tumble down the board for a few different reasons. According to NBC Sports' Mike Florio, an anonymous NFL general manager said he treated the pre-draft process like he was being "recruited," not "interviewed."
As for the New York Giants, Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer reported that Sanders' meeting with team officials went badly when the team pointed out the quarterback had made a mistake.
Despite the perceived blunders, Sanders will be competing with Gabriel, Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett for the starting nod in Cleveland. He'll be determined to prove everyone wrong with a huge chip on his shoulder in the NFL.
