Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders saw both his sons, Shilo and Shedeur, leave after the 2024 season.
Shedeur Sanders was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, and Shilo signed an undrafted free agent deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before being released.
Shedeur was thrown into a QB battle with Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett and Dillon Gabriel, and he began the year as the QB3 in Cleveland with Flacco winning the starting job.
On Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens, Sanders made his long-awaited NFL debut after Gabriel left the game with a concussion.
The Browns lost the game, 23-16, and Sanders went just 4-of-16 for 47 yards with one interception and a fumble.
On Monday, Deion Sanders had quite the reaction to his son making his regular-season debut.
"I was thankful, happy, and appreciative that he got an opportunity," Deion Sanders said.

The Sanders family had been waiting a long time for the Browns' QB to make his debut.
After the game, Shedeur also tried to shoulder the blame, with Browns teammate Myles Garrett admitting that to the media.
“He wanted to pin it on himself,” Garrett said. “I wouldn’t allow him to do that. It’s a team game.”
Gabriel's status for the upcoming week is up in the air due to him dealing with a concussion, so there is a chance that Shedeur makes his first NFL start for the Browns in Week 12 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
