Deion Sanders has been leading the Colorado Buffaloes over the past four seasons.

Sanders served as the head coach of the college football team during the stint of Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders. While those two stars helped build the Colorado football program, it's been a difficult ride without the duo.

Colorado began the 2025 college football season with a 1-2 record. They fell to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and Houston Cougars top begin the season.

The Buffaloes earned their first win over Delaware. After their win against Delaware, Colorado suffered back-to-back losses against BYU and TCU.

In Week 7, Colorado picked up their biggest win of the season. The Buffaloes earned a win over No. 22 Iowa State.

Colorado defeated the Cyclones 24-17.

After the game, Colorado football fans stormed the field.

Deion Sanders was asked about the field storming after the game, having taken down a Top 25 college football team.

When commenting on the field storm, he reacted to the news that Colorado was bracing for a $50,000 fine.

"How's it $50,000 for rushing the field," Sanders said. "Cmon man, that ain't right."

The fine for field storming in the Big 12 could cost the Colorado Buffaloes anywhere from $25,000 to $50,000.

If it's the first offense for Colorado, they will be fined $25,000 but a recurring incident will result in a heftier punishment for the Buffaloes.

The Colorado Buffaloes will be back on the field in Week 9 against the Utah Utes. Colorado will have a bye week in Week 8.
