Colorado Buffaloes star Travis Hunter will be in New York on Dec. 14 for the Heisman Trophy Award ceremony.
Following a historic season with the Buffaloes, Hunter is listed as a -2000 favorite, per On3 Sports, to win the Heisman Trophy, over other stars like Dillon Gabriel, Cam Ward and Ashton Jeanty.
Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders spoke on Hunter's Heisman chances, sending a subtle warning to the college football world if the Colorado wide receiver/cornerback doesn't win.
"We got another award to pick up right?" Sanders said. "Saturday right. It’s going to be something happening if we don’t pick up that award."
Sanders nodded his head when mentioning there will "something happening" if Hunter doesn't win while explaining "I'm just letting y'all know."
