Deion Sanders sets the standard with latest Colorado offer letter

Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes football program went viral last year for Louis Vuitton offer letters. His famous declaration, "I'm bringing my luggage, and it's Louis," took on a literal meaning. The follow up didn't stick to the same theme by paying homage to the famous designer brand, but it stood out for obvious reasons.

Colorado's top recruit Preston Ashley showed off this year's version during an unboxing on X (Formerly Twitter). The box opens to a graded 1-of-1 trading card of the blue chip cornerback as his official offer. It sits on top of pages of other trading cards of CU coaches, including ones of Coach Prime. Kudos to one of the best recruit pitches to date by Colorado's staff.

Ashley was a big commitment who helped pick up the momentum for Sanders and the Buffs during a time when the Hall-of-Famer was away from Boulder seeking treatment for bladder cancer. The highly-ranked four-star earned a spot on the 2026 Under Armour All-American list. He also tops Colorado's future class and is expected to make waves in his senior season at Brandon (Mississippi).

The Buffaloes are set to face the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Friday, Aug. 29, in what promises to be an exciting opener to Coach Prime's third season at Colorado. Another opportunity for CU to shine on a big stage (8 p.m. ET on ESPN).
