Deion Sanders Snubs Shedeur & Other Kids to Crown Deion Sanders Jr. With a Eye-Catching Title

Deion Sanders just stirred the family pot—with a single sentence on Instagram.

“The MVP of all my kids!” the Colorado head coach posted, crowning his oldest son, Deion Sanders Jr., in a caption that’s sure to turn a few heads.

The moment came as Sanders Jr. posed proudly in a custom replica of Shedeur Sanders’ new Browns jersey, showing support for his younger brother’s NFL career—while also securing the spotlight for himself.

Shedeur, a fifth-round pick by Cleveland in last month’s NFL Draft, may be the most high-profile of Deion’s children at the moment. And Shilo Sanders just signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent.

Yet it was the eldest, Deion Jr., who earned Coach Prime’s very public praise.

A former wide receiver at SMU, Sanders Jr. never made a splash in the NFL.

But he’s played a huge role off the field as the family’s creative force—producing content, growing the “Well Off Media” brand, and helping elevate the Sanders name beyond the field.

Still, it’s a bold move to declare any “MVP” in this ultra-athletic family.

Shedeur passed for over 10,000 yards in college, broke records at Jackson State and Colorado, and was widely viewed as a top-3 quarterback prospect before sliding to Day 3 in the draft.

Shilo made headlines with his playmaking and trash talk in Boulder, and now has a real shot to make Tampa Bay’s roster.

But this week, it was Deion Jr. who earned his dad’s spotlight.

Whether it was a joke or a genuine nod, Deion’s post sent a message: being a playmaker doesn’t always mean suiting up.

Sometimes, it means running the show from behind the camera—and still winning Dad’s MVP vote.
