The Florida State Seminoles have produced one of the worst seasons in program history. They're currently 1-9 on the year, having lost six straight games.
Given the struggles in Tallahassee, they've made some changes to their coaching staff. The Seminoles fired offensive coordinator Alex Atkins, defensive coordinator Adam Fuller and wide receivers coach Ron Dugans on Sunday.
After the firing of key staff members, Solomon Thomas, a five-star Seminoles commit from the 2025 class, commented on the news.
"Ngl yall messed up firing my coach," Thomas posted with a photo of him and Atkins.
Thomas' tweet was shared by a few recruiting sites on social media, including Rivals, which reposted Thomas' comment with the caption, "Florida State can't afford another L this season."
Following their post, a response from Deion Sanders' official Instagram account surfaced in the comment section.
"Wow! My Dad ain't hard to find," read the comment with numerous laughing emojis.
While the comment was posted by Sanders' social media account, there's reason to believe it was posted by his son, Deion Sanders Jr., nicknamed "Bucky."
Bucky has been known to run his father's social media account, with Deion Sanders Sr. previously explaining, "I got a strong son over there that does my social media," per USA Today.
He also runs "Well Off Media," which documents behind-the-scenes footage of the Colorado Buffaloes.
While the Seminoles have struggled to find their identity, it's been a completely different story with the Colorado Buffaloes this season.
The Buffaloes stand at 7-2 on the year and 5-1 in the Big 12, trailing only the BYU Cougars (9-0, 6-0) in the conference standings.
Colorado has already taken a massive step forward from its first season under Sanders, which ended with a record of 4-8.
The Buffaloes are led by quarterback Shedeur Sanders and two-way star Travis Hunter.
So far this season, Shedeur Sanders has recorded 24 touchdowns and 2,882 yards with a 72.9 completion percentage. Hunter, who plays wide receiver and cornerback for the Buffaloes, has produced Heisman Trophy-level numbers.
On the offensive end, Hunter has posted nine touchdowns and 856 yards on 69 receptions. On defense, Hunter has recorded one forced fumble, two interceptions, seven pass deflections and 13 solo tackles.
