Deion Sanders' son Shedeur signs NIL deal with Beats by Dre

Jackson State Tigers quarterback Shedeur Sanders, son of  Tigers head coach and Hall-of-Famer Deion Sanders, has signed a NIL deal to be a brand ambassador for Beats by Dre.

According to ESPN, the freshman QB is the first college athlete to be signed to the brand.

"I remember getting my first pair of Beats, so this feels full circle," Shedeur Sanders said, via ESPN. "I'm excited to be part of a brand that inspires and represents the culture in a positive way -- and that's exactly what I want to do with my career. It's an honor to be the first college athlete on their roster, and I couldn't have imagined a better partnership."

Shedeur is reportedly the highest-ranked player ever to join Jackson State's football program. After previously committing to Florida Atlantic, he flipped and joined Jackson State in November 2020 after his dad was hired as head coach.

All of Shedeur's future NIL deals will be managed by SMAC Entertainment and WME sports, ESPN said.

The Beats by Dre deal isn't the first celebrity connection the Mississippi school has made since the Sanders father-son duo emerged on the scene. The New York Post reported recently that a number of high-profile NFLers, both past and present, have been spotted visiting Deion during the offseason.
