The buzz around Texas Longhorns wide receiver Isaiah Bond continues to build. The former Alabama playmaker joined Steve Sarkisian's explosive offense this winter, hoping to become the next star to see his game grow with the program. The speedster is similar to 2024 first-round draft pick Xavier Worthy.

At 5-foot-11 inches, Bond produced 65 catches, 888 yards, and five touchdowns over two seasons with Alabama. Now, playing in a more aggressive downfield offense with QB Quinn Ewers, Bond figures to be a consistent home-run threat that is fed volume and quality targets.

PFF NFL draft analyst Max Chadwick predicted Bond's 2024 season will match the hype. He's projecting Bond to land in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft after a big season. It's easy to see why.

The NFL's thirst for speed has always been unquenchable. Teams overlook raw, underdeveloped players every year because of their athleticism and, specifically, speed. Bond is a functionally good player like Worthy, and he has the fourth gear that allows him to generate effortless separation during routes.

Worthy lauded Sarkisian's offense recently, comparing it to how Andy Reid has built his offense in Kansas City. That's the same offense that just made Worthy a first-round pick and helped Tyreek Hill become a superstar with the franchise. The NFL likes what Sarkisian runs and sees value in a scheme that helped AD Mitchell be a second-round pick.

Bond is joined by fellow newcomers Matthew Golden and Silas Bolden. Golden is especially interesting as a smooth, athletic threat who plays completely differently than Bond. This duo could mirror the Longhorns' 2024 pairing of Worthy and Mitchell, earning top-50 grades from evaluators.
