CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz reports the Eagles are signing UDFA DT David Blay to a contract.
Blay, 23, was a no-star prospect and unranked in the 2021 recruiting class out of Levittown, Pennsylvania. He started his collegiate career at Division II West Chester for two years before transferring to Louisiana Tech.
Blay then transferred to Miami for his final college season before signing with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent following the 2026 draft. New England waived Blay shortly into camp, however.
In his FBS career, Blay appeared in 35 games over three years at Louisiana Tech and Miami. He recorded 90 total tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks and one pass defended.
