Dabo Swinney has been telling his Clemson players that they have a chance to have a "Rocky IV" moment against LSU in the national championship game, with the Tigers being Drago.
"Going to Louisiana is like going to Russia and we're playing Drago."

“Coach Swinney loves to compare us to Rocky movies. I guess he’s just the biggest Rocky fan,” Clemson offensive tackle Tremayne Anchrum said. “He said going to Louisiana is like going to Russia, and we’re playing Drago.”
When asked to respond to this comparison, LSU head coach Ed Orgeron had a pretty funny reaction.
Dabo said playing LSU in Louisiana is like Rocky going to fight Ivan Drago in Russia.

Coach O: "I couldn’t even tell you who those two guys are to be honest with you." pic.twitter.com/djDUCrR4dm
Orgeron said:
“I think those motivational tactics are for the other team. Obviously, (Swinney) has done a great job. I couldn’t tell you who those two guys (Balboa and Drago) are, to be honest with you. I just know this: it’s going to be an emotional night. When we run out of that tunnel, I think it’s going to be a hometown advantage. But we have to take care of it. We have to use it to our advantage.”
Needless to say, the two head coaches set to clash in Monday’s national championship game couldn’t be more different. And their teams are a reflection of their unique personalities, which should make for a very entertaining title game.
Monday night cannot get here soon enough.
