ESPN's Chris Fowler: Impossible to have normal college football season

With the COVID-19 pandemic sweeping the nation, there's no sign of sports coming back anytime soon. With the NHL, NBA, MLB and MLS seasons on pause due to the deadly virus, the NFL and college football seasons are now in jeopardy.

At this point both football seasons will go on as scheduled, but that's subject to change at any moment.

Chris Fowler of ESPN thinks it's impossible to have a normal college football season with all that's going on. However, he does believe there will be a season in some sort of capacity.

If the football season does begin on time, it seems more and more likely that stadiums will be empty and some sort of quarantining will have to go on.

If Fowler is right, then we're in for a huge shakeup come the beginning of the season.
