Before the 2025 NCAA college football season, Carson Beck was going viral for all the wrong reasons. His presence in Miami was celebrated, as many thought it was related to his relationship with Hanna Cavinder.
However, things blew up in his face over alleged Snapchat messages. Beck also came to Miami to get the Hurricanes to the College Football Playoff. His TD run with 18 seconds to go in the Fiesta Bowl put the team in the national championship game.
Before he got there, his ex-girlfriend and her twin sister had a lot to say about him.
During the summer of 2025, Hanna Cavinder and her sister were in a spirited conversation with Kai Trump.
Trump asked Cavinder if Carson Beck had been talking to his friends. She didn’t hold back with her response either, saying, “Nobody likes him.” She then dove into the cheating allegations, saying that wasn’t the reason for the split.
“And then I broke up with him, and all of these cheating (expletive) came out,” Cavinder said. “I had no idea. I didn’t break up with him because he was cheating. I broke up with him because of like who he was.”
Another video showed Haley Cavinder saying, “Trust your sister.” Somebody posted the videos of those moments and finished it off with Carson Beck leading his team to victory.
Everyone counted Carson Beck out.

Can Carson Beck actually do it? Beck, the former Georgia QB who transferred to Miami, led the Hurricanes to the College Football Playoff National Championship game. He scored the most important touchdown of Miami’s season to send them to the National Championship.
And now, Beck is hoping to etch his name in Miami Hurricanes football history.
On Monday night, he will take center stage in his home state. He looks to accomplish a lifelong dream and lead this Canes team to a championship. The last time the University of Miami won a national championship in football was in 2001.
Kickoff for the Championship game against the undefeated Indiana Hoosiers starts at 7:30 p.m. at Hard Rock Stadium.
