Nike is paying tribute to Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders, and one of his former players couldn’t be more excited.

Deion Sanders, 57, renewed his notable partnership with the athletic wear company by signing another lucrative contract in 2024 alongside his son and Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders. Furthermore, Nike has begun a collaboration with Coach Prime’s eldest son and social media creator, Deion Sanders Jr., on his version of the Diamond Turf 92 signature shoes.

The kicks come in a sleek “Black” colorway that also features white and red on the Nike logo and inside the shoe. The sneakers are designed to pay homage to Coach Prime by honoring his “unforgettable legacy,” according to an article from Sneaker Bar Detroit.

Although the shoes have a flashy design, they are intended for comfort, so they can be used on the street and during competitions. The sneakers even earned notice from former Colorado wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr., who reacted to the shoe's design in the comment section of an Instagram post from “Well Off,” Deion Sanders Jr.’s brand.

“,” Horn shared.

Following two seasons in Boulder from 2023-24, Horn was drafted by the Carolina Panthers with the 208th overall pick in the sixth round of April’s NFL draft. Horn could make a solid impact on the Panthers' receiver room because of his speed and athleticism. He has already impressed the coaching staff with during offseason workouts.

Meanwhile, the Nike Air Diamond Turf 92 “Black” is expected to arrive in the fall and will be available for $155 through Nike.com and select retailers.
