Florida continues scorching June in recruiting as HC Billy Napier lands 10th commitment of the month

The Florida Gators are the hottest team when it comes to recruiting in the entire country.

This past weekend, the Gators hosted their third-consecutive major recruiting weekend. It was incredibly fruitful, as the landed four commits within the first 96 hours.

After Luckas committed early on Monday morning, he was joined by a fellow offensive lineman in four-star Tyler Chukuyem, who committed at noon.

The Gators received multiple expert predictions to land Chukuyem after his official visit over the weekend, and having that last visit often makes a big difference.

On 3 Sports has Chukuyem as a four-star and the 26th-ranked offensive lineman. He becomes the second recruit in the 2026 class from the state of Georgia, joining Baker who committed on Friday night. The biggest competition that the Gators had for Chukuyem were Ole Miss and Cincinnati, who hosted him on official visits over the previous two weekends.

Chukuyem is now the fourth offensive lineman in the recruiting class, joining Luckas who also commited on Monday morning, three-star Chancellor Campbell, and three-star G'Nivre Carr. Napier has done a really good job of identifying offensive line talent, and the lack of star power among this group shouldn't be too much of a concern.

The Gators now have 12 commits in the 2026 class and rank 13th in the nation, along with sixth in the SEC.
