The Florida Gators have done a great job when it comes to recruiting over the last six weeks.

Head coach Billy Napier has landed 12 recruits since the beginning of May, including a whopping 11 in the month of June. One area where he has made a focus is the offensive line. That continued at the Grill in the Ville event where they landed the four-star athlete Tramond Collins and they sent an offer to a top offensive tackle in four-star Caden Moss.

The Gators continue to make it a priority with the offensive line, and they have done a really good job in identifying talent, as both Jake Slaughter and Austin Barber could both end up as first-round picks in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Moss is the 28th-ranked recruit nationally in the 2027 recruiting class, along with being the fifth-ranked offensive tackle and the top ranked player in the state of Mississippi. He was a sophomore All-American per Max Preps and has really good size for a player entering his junior year at 6'5 and 265 lbs.

Being one of the top offensive tackles in the class isn't new for the Gators to prioritize, but it's thier ability to identify talent. The fact that the Gators see him as a priority is a good thing. If they can secure Moss, it will go a long way to getting a great start to the 2027 class.
