The Florida Gators have been in a mini-slump over the past week, having lost out on five-star wide receiver Cederian Morgan to Alabama earlier in the day, along with multiple players in the trenches, especially on the defensive line.
Head coach Billy Napier finally got some good news, as four-star defensive tackle Kendall Guervil committed to the Gators on Wednesday afternoon.

This is a huge land for the Gators, as they've struck out with multiple high-end recruits over the last couple of weeks. Guervil hails from Fort Myers, Florida and is the 13th-ranked recruit in the Sunshine State. On3 Sports also ranks him as the 117th overall recruit and 12th-ranked defensive lineman.
He joins four-star JaReylan McCoy, and three-star DT Jamir Perez as the defensive line recruits so far in this class. However, Perez might be decommitting on Friday afternoon, as he's set to have a "big announcement" during the day on the Fourth of July.
The addition of Guervil brings the Gators up to 15 commitments in the 2026 recruiting class.
