The Florida Gators are in a great spot with recruiting. The month of June has been red hot for head coach Billy Napier, and he continued that success on Thursday morning when they received a commitment from 2026 three-star offensive lineman Desmond Green.

Green is the 14th commitment for the Gators in the 2026 class and the 13th overall commitment in the month of June alone, with one of those being for the 2027 class in four-star athlete Tramond Collins.
Green is a massive athlete at 6'4.5 and 350 lbs who ranks 37th nationally at the position and 455th overall in the On3 Sports Industry Ranking. He is of a similar build to that of O'Cyrus Torrence who was selected in the second round by the Buffalo Bills.
Napier has a history of prioritizing high three-star offensive linemen who have been under valued by the recruiting services and chooses to develop them from the ground up. The Gators' offensive line class is now five deep with all of them being three stars.
I wouldn't be surprised to see some or all of them make a leap up this upcoming season, especially offensive tackle Chancellor Campbell, who is a whopping 6'8 with length and power.
Right now, the Gators have 14 commitments in the 2026 class with the likelihood of more on the way.
