Florida pursuing four-star QB recruit who decommitted from Colorado

Antwann Hill was once committed to play football for Deion Sanders at Colorado.

That was a commitment that lasted only two months, but now that the 2025 quarterback recruit is back on the market, there is one school that is seemingly working more than the others to land Hill's commitment.

According to On3, the Florida Gators are serious about adding Hill to their recruiting class.

“We know that Antwann Hill is certainly in that group of three or four top guys that Florida is looking at,” Florida recruiting insider Keith Niebuhr recently said.

Hill, from Warner Robins, Georgia, boast almost 30 offers, with Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Notre Dame, Miami, Penn State and Tennessee all sticking out.

Florida may have a leg up, though, because he's visited campus multiple times — including for a Junior Day trip this past January.

He also spoke highly about the Gators after that visit.

“They most definitely made me feel like I was at home,” Hill told On3. “Just seeing DJ Lagway working out, and how they treated him — seeing how they’re bringing in freshmen quarterbacks early and how they’re developing him and getting him ready for the SEC made me feel good.”

Lagway, a former five-star recruit, signed with Florida as part of Billy Napier's 2024 class. Hill is not as highly ranked, but he still has tremendous potential as a quarterback prospect.

According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Hill is the No. 6 quarterback recruit in the country.
