Week 13 of the 2024 college football season was filled with upsets across the nation, but the SEC may have been impacted the most as far as the College Football Playoff race goes.
Jaxson Dart and the No. 9 Ole Miss Rebels were one of these teams that may have dropped out of the playoff for the time being as the Florida Gators handed them their third loss of the season.
The Gators' defense consistently found themselves in the backfield, putting pressure on Dart and amassing four sacks throughout the game. Defensive lineman Caleb Banks led the charge with 2.5 sacks of his own.
But the fun didn't stop there for Banks. On Monday, the junior from Detroit, Michigan, took to social media to take a shot at the Ole Miss quarterback, getting back in on the action from Saturday.
"Jaxson Dart getcho (expletive) up," Banks wrote on his Instagram Story with a photo of himself standing over the QB after bringing him down.
Banks struggled to get things going in his first two seasons in Gainesville, recording just 21 tackles, two sacks and one forced fumble. However, the 6-foot-6, 325-pounder has started to find his stride in 2024, tallying 21 tackles, 4.5 sacks, a forced fumble and a pass deflection, including his career-high in sacks against Ole Miss.

With the win in Week 13, the Gators (6-5, 4-4 in SEC play) are now bowl-eligible for the first time since 2022. They will get the Florida State Seminoles in their regular season finale on Saturday, Nov. 30.
Meanwhile, Ole Miss (8-3, 4-3 in SEC play) saw their three-game winning streak end with the loss to Florida. They will aim to keep their CFP hopes alive with a win over the Mississippi State Bulldogs in Week 14.
