Florida transfer DL in Tuscaloosa visiting Alabama

Collins is a former four-star recruit out of Gardendale High School in Alabama. 

The Crimson Tide were very involved in his original recruitment with their current defensive line coach, Freddie Roach leading the way. 

Collins signed with Florida after high school and spent two seasons with the Gators. He recorded 29 total tackles, 1.5 sacks and one force fumble in two seasons as a Gator.
