One former Alabama defensive lineman is headed to the ACC to continue his college football career.

Defensive line transfer Hunter Osborne is transferring to Virginia. The former four-star made official visits to Virginia and Vanderbilt before deciding to commit to the Cavaliers.

Osborne signed with Alabama as a part of the ’23 recruiting class. He chose the Crimson Tide over schools like Auburn, Clemson, Tennessee, and Texas.

In two seasons with the Crimson Tide, Osborne recorded three tackles. The native of Trussville, Alabama will have three years of eligibility remaining. It will be interesting to see how he fares in the ACC for a program that is on the rise under head coach Tony Elliott.
