Former Alabama star LB Reuben Foster narrates significance of this Crimson Tide vs. LSU matchup

The Crimson Tide had legends to play in the Southeastern Conference rivalry, but it had the perfect athlete to narrate the significance of this game. Reuben Foster, who played under Saban from 2013 to 2016, was arguably the most fearsome linebacker in college football.

He was a heat-seeking missile in his four seasons in Tuscaloosa (Ala.), arriving as a five-star from Auburn High School in the 2013 recruiting class.

Foster was an Unanimous All-American, first-team All-SEC selection, and Butkus Award winner in 2016, but he was on Alabama’s 2015 College Football Playoff National Championship team.

He was known for his freakish, bone-crushing tackles — especially in matchups versus LSU. 

Foster punished Leonard Fournette of the Tigers in 2014 by nailing him on a kickoff return in Baton Rouge, La. He made several other tackles, but that one of Fournette stands out the most.

Foster talks about going into “Death Valley” and making it belong to the Tide in his narration.

He said Alabama cannot focus on the noise or the atmosphere because this is big man football. Foster handled LSU in 2014 and 2016 at Tiger Stadium. His Alma mater is playing for its CFP lives, and he wants the Tide to dominate.
