Former Crimson Tide Stars Land Coaching Jobs

Two former Crimson Tide standouts have landed new jobs on with a local college in Alabama. Former running back Bo Scarbrough and defensive lineman Damion Square will now serve under the coaching staff at West Alabama.

Scarbrough will serve as the Director of High School Relations, where his main responsibility will be focused on maintaining relationships between the university and highs schools and their coaches, as he will aim to foster a positive attitude towards recruiting and keeping a positive image towards the university. 

Square will serve a coaching role on the sidelines as the defensive line coach, and will be coaching and leading the current and future defensive lineman in not only talents on the field, but with leadership qualities as well. 

Scarbrough played with the Crimson Tide from 2014-2017, where he was their featured back in his last two seasons. In his final season, the Tide would fall to Georgia in the National Championship game alongside former Heisman winner Bryce Young. Scarbrough moved around a bit in the NFL after being drafted in the seventh round in 2018, but would ultimately end up playing with the local Birmingham Stallions as they would win consecutive UFL Championships.

Square played with the Tide from 2008-2012, where he would be a part of three of the Crimson Tide's National Championship teams during their early dynasty days. Square was selected to the preseason All-SEC second team prior to his senior season, but would fall undrafted in the 2013 NFL Draft.
