Since first committing to the Texas A&M Aggies in 2021, former five-star cornerback Denver Harris has since transferred to the LSU Tigers, UTSA Roadrunners and most recently, the UNLV Rebels.

Ranked as high as the No. 6 recruit in the 2022 class, Harris played one season each at Texas A&M, LSU and UTSA. In joining UNLV, Harris is the Rebels' 21st incoming transfer commitment. On Monday, the Mountain West school added five players through the transfer portal.

In 2022, Harris committed to the Aggies over offers from Alabama, Texas, LSU, Arkansas, Clemson, Georgia and several others. Over his three-year collegiate career, Harris has 37 total tackles and eight passes defended.

UNLV is undergoing a lot of roster overhaul through the transfer portal this offseason. The Rebels have 32 players entered into the portal or have already committed elsewhere.

Harris is the third cornerback to transfer to UNLV, joining Aamaris Brown (USF) and Laterrance Welch (Arizona State).

The Rebels have lost three defensive backs to the transfer portal: S Jalen Catalon (Missouri), CB Tony Grimes (Purdue) and S Jett Elad (Rutgers).

247Sports ranks UNLV's transfer portal class at No. 63 with nine three-star incoming players. They are the clear leader among Mountain West programs and have more than double the number of commitments than the second-place MW team, San Diego State.
