One of the top wide receivers in the Big Ten two years ago has found a new home as Cam Camper made his commitment official on Sunday afternoon.

Camper, who has one year of eligibility remaining, announced his commitment to Boise State on Sunday. Camper will join quarterback Malachi Nelson — the former top-15 prospect in the 2023 class — who committed to the Broncos this weekend as well.

Camper quickly flashed his potential at Indiana during his first season with the program in 2022. He had 11 receptions for 156 yards in the 2022 opener — most by an Indiana football player in a debut in program history — and finished with 46 receptions for 569 yards and two touchdowns.

He was limited to just seven games due to an ACL injury he suffered midway through the season.

This season, an injury to his same knee cut his season short once again. He played in just eight games and had 17 receptions for 285 yards and one touchdown. Before going down for the season, Camper missed some time throughout the first eight weeks with injuries to his knee.

Camper joined the Indiana football program following a transfer from Trinity Valley Community College. In two seasons there, Camper had 50 catches for 858 yards and four touchdowns.

Boise State lost its top wideout from a season ago, leaving room for Camper to come in and produce at a high level immediately.

Indiana football brings back a deep and talented wide receiver room with four receivers with over 1,000 career yards. All four are transfers they added through the portal. In addition, the Hoosiers retained leading receiver from a season ago in Donaven McCulley and also young but extremely talented wideout Omar Cooper Jr. EJ Williams, who transferred to Indiana from Clemson a season ago, also returns to Bloomington.

In total, Indiana football has a wideout room with 7,736 career yards.
