Over the Memorial Day weekend, former Missouri Tiger Keke Chism celebrated the holiday with a standout performance in the UFL.
Chism, who now plays as a wide receiver for the Houston Roughnecks, hauled in two touchdowns Sunday in a 24-21 win over the D.C. Defenders.

It was Chism's first career game with two trips into the endzone, and his four total receiving touchdowns lead all Roughnecks receivers and rank tied-for-third in the UFL this season.
Chism's first touchdown arrived with just seven seconds remaining in first half. Facing a 3rd-and-6 on the Defenders' 14-yard line, quarterback Jalan McClendon found Chism through traffic for the score, giving the Roughnecks their first lead of the game 11-9.
Chism collected his second touchdown after Houston received the ball to start the second half.
Connecting once more with McClendon in the redzone, he received a short pass, then made a nice cut back and walked in untouched for the 13-yard touchdown to up the score to 17-9.
Chism finished the game with three catches for 34 yards and the two touchdowns. On the season, he has 27 receptions for 255 yards and four touchdowns in nine games played.
During his two seasons with the Mizzou in 2020-21, Chism racked up 1,033 receiving yards and five touchdowns. Following his final season in Columbia, he landed with the USFL's Houston Gamblers in 2023, posting 244 yards and two touchdowns in his first season.
Following Houston's rebranding to the Roughnecks in 2024, Chism has proven to be an important piece of the wide receiver room.
