Former Ole Miss Running Back Visits Premier Power 5 Program After Transfer Decition

After announcing his decision to enter the transfer portal earlier this month, former Ole Miss Rebels running back Quinshon Judkins reportedly visited the Ohio State Buckeyes over the weekend.

On3 reported the news on Sunday, and Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin reposted a screenshot of Judkins' Instagram story from Columbus, Ohio, on his X account.

The running back announced his intention to enter the transfer portal on Jan. 4 on the heels of Ole Miss' historic 11-2 season.

"I have loved my time here at Ole Miss and am grateful for the opportunity to grow as a football player and person within this program," Judkins said on X.

His post continued with a thank you to the fans, teammates and coaching staff at Ole Miss, and he signed off asking for respect for his decision.

"I hope you understand and respect my choice," Judkins said. "Love you all and wish nothing but success."

Judkins became the first SEC player since Herschel Walker with 15-plus touchdowns in each of his first two collegiate seasons in 2023, and he led the SEC in rushing touchdowns the last two years.

In the 2022 and 2023 seasons, Judkins accumulated 2,725 rushing yards and 34 total touchdowns.
