The domino effect of Nick Saban’s retirement continues after almost a month.
The move impacted several college football rosters across the nation including the San Jose State Spartans.
Following the departures of former Spartans head coach Brent Brennan and defensive line coach Joe Seumalo to Arizona, Smith entered the portal and will now follow his former coaches to The Grand Canyon State.
One of the better edge defenders in the Transfer Portal cycle, and certainly among the best currently on the market, is San Jose State DE Tre Smith.
Smith had a 77.7 PFF Grade this past season with 47 QB Pressures.
