Bailey is a former four-star recruit who signed with Tennessee during the 2020 recruiting cycle. He left the Vols midway through the 2021 season and eventually transferred to UNLV for the 2022 season.
The Marietta, GA native transferred from UNLV to Louisville after the 2022 season. Bailey started in Louisville's win against Washington Huskies in the Sun Bowl on New Year's Eve.
Bailey passed for 594 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions during his two seasons at Tennessee. For his career, Bailey has totaled 1,190 yards, 10 touchdowns, and three interceptions.
DJ Lagway is expected to serve as the Gators' starting quarterback in 2025 which means that Bailey will likely serve as a depth option for Florida.
Tennessee will travel to Gainesville in 2025 for a matchup against Florida on November 22.
