Former Tennessee Vols wide receiver Dayton Sneed has a new home after entering the NCAA transfer portal earlier this spring.

Sneed, a former unrated recruit from Nashville, TN, committed to the North Carolina Tar Heels on Tuesday.

The former Vol announced his decision via a social media post.

Sneed, 6-foot/196 lbs, spent two seasons with the Volunteers before entering the transfer portal.

The Tennessee native caught two passes for 19 yards during his time on Rocky Top.

Sneed, who was the 2021 TSSAA Div. II-A Offensive Player of the Year, should serve as a depth option for Bill Belichick at North Carolina.
