Former Utah Signee Jack Tuttle Returns for 7th Season
USA TODAY Sports

In 2018, Jack Tuttle was Utah's marquee signing out of San Marcos, California, being the program's highest-rated quarterback in history at the time.

However, midway through his freshman year, he transferred to Indiana where he'd spend the next 4 seasons throwing for 901 yards, 5 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions on 182 attempts.

In 2023, the 6'4" 210-pound graduate student, transferred to Michigan, and in his first season with the program, he recorded 130 passing yards and a touchdown on 17 attempts while sitting behind JJ McCarthy.

With McCarthy off to the draft and Harbaugh off to the Chargers, Sherrone Moore slots in as the new head coach, and the QB spot is wide open, granting Tuttle the chance to compete and finally get the chance that he's been searching for.

The soon-to-be 25-year-old QB will most likely be competing with Alex Orji for the starting job.
